The acquisition of new profiling and bending machines allows for greater control over the whole production process, optimising the final results for each silo. In the midst of the 21st century, the progressive introduction of technologies such as automation, robotics and digital monitoring have changed both appearance and organisation of the factories and workshops where Prado Silos has been manufacturing storage solutions for decades. From the very beginning, the company has sought to constantly improve its production processes along with the precision and reliability of its products, in order to satisfy the specific demands of a mishmash of constantly evolving markets (storage for the agricultural sector, bulk materials, biomass, etc.).
In line with this approach, three new machines have recently joined the fleet to increase capacity and improve production control: a combined punch-laser profiling machine, a new hydraulic bending machine and a three-roll bending machine, complementing the production resources already in place for the manufacture of ferrules, reinforcements and roof parts.
The latest addition to our technological arsenal, the combined punch-laser profiling machine, represents a significant upgrade to the whole manufacturing process of silos and metal structures. This state-of-the-art machine offers an outstanding ability to handle 0.8 mm to 6 mm thick parts, making it an ideal resource for the production of robust and precise components.

The dual techniques (punching and laser cutting) combined with a 3 m worktable and computer numerical control (CNC) offer unmatched efficiency and accuracy, minimising material waste and thereby reducing the associated costs. The smart laser working-head concept and an optimised universal cooling interface provide outstanding energy balance.
This technical specialisation in the manufacture of high quality profiles with tight tolerance will enable the different production lines to meet the increasing production demand while fulfilling orders more efficiently. State-of-the-art technology, user-friendly operation and automated control systems eliminate the need for complex and expensive finishing or quality-impairing operations.
At the same time, the Prado Silos working team can now rely on a new tool freshly implemented, broadening the range of hydraulic bending machines and press brakes. This hydraulic CNC bending machine operates on parts ranging from 0.8 mm to 6 mm thick; since the very first day of deployment, its safety, modernity and reliability have convinced our operators, turning this new equipment into a key industrial asset for optimising the construction of our silos and metal structures.

Within the context of Prado Silos factory, this new hydraulic bending machine reveals its potential by offering high working speed, precise and accurate bending angles thanks to CNC, as well as a more efficient and intuitive operation of the whole system, thus enhancing the final quality and consistency of each silo produced in our facilities .
Last but not least, Prado Silos has invested in strengthening the profile bending section with the incorporation of a new CNC horizontal three-roll bending machine, which provides more flexibility when it comes to combining processes and joint tasks, owing to its speed, precision, efficiency and versatility; this industrial asset was requested by the operators at the core of the plant to boost efficiency, as it can work with different materials and profiles, meeting the most demanding requirements of each project with consistent and flawless results.
This new bending machine equipped with three rolls offers more options, saving time and resources in the manufacturing process of each silo by eliminating the need for specific cutting and welding operations, while providing greater agility in the manufacture of certain complex metal parts and structures, exceeding the most demanding standards.
